Belated Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Happy belated St. Patty's day to all! Obviously, I'm a little behind on my posts! We celebrated by blowing bubbles outside, one of Annaliese's favorite activities. As you can see, we've been able to trade the striped fleece hat for a sun hat with the same understanding that we wear the hat so we can go outside - so glad that it wasn't a huge struggle!

It's exhausting being this cute! (clearly nothing to do with St. Patrick or wearing green :)

Our little gardener

Annaliese loves to be outside so helping her Daddy plant the garden was lots of fun!

Since we went way overboard last year and then didn't keep it up after July, we decided to go small and simple this year with 2 kinds of tomatoes (total of 6 plants instead of 24 like last year), bell pepper, cucumber, and squash. We also have seeds for green beans again and will have to add in some zucchini and basil. We'll enjoy it until July and hopefully whomever rents our house starting this summer will get to enjoy it too!

The kitties didn't help very much, but they are adorable also.

Reimer's

Two weekends ago, we started out on a mission to find wild flower in which to take pics of Annaliese. She had woken up with a little cold but we decided to still go. Although there were some beautiful wild flowers in the foothills near our house, we never saw them at a convenient place for taking pictures of a toddler and Annaliese slept most of the time any way.
But we ended up a Reimer's Gifts and Candies and indulged in a waffle ice cream cone and a couple of chocolates. Yum! Highly recommend it if you are in the Three Rivers Area or heading up to Kings Canyon via 198.

Annaliese was sleeping while we took this picture (and several others) of this cow. You should have seen Andy calling "Hey cow!" in order to get the cow to look up... but it worked!

Big Sister

Great news! God has blessed us with a new little life! In early October, Annaliese will be a big sister! I'm 9 weeks pregnant and feeling pretty good, just exhausted. There are lots of big changes ahead for the Dollahite family! Thank-you all for your continued prayers!

[Btw, we're still planning on moving to upstate NY in July unless we hear that Andy has been accepted off the wait list at UT Houston or USC.]
