The future Dr. Dollahite

Tonight Andy came home after a full day at school, had dinner with us, and returned to school to study with a group for a few hours since they have a test on Monday. He'll be studying all weekend as well. I can't tell you how incredibly demanding medical school is. It is different than most other graduate programs from what I can gather. There is so much intensive lecture information, aside from required reading including concepts and history, as well as hands-on lab knowledge.

All in all, Andy juggles it all with joy, coming home to an often frazzled wife and two kids who are sometimes both screaming (although not always) during his "break" time. For that I am thankful. It is a hard season for both of us right now, but I am glad to know that through it all we have each other and the Lord on whom we rely.

Fortunately he loves it, which is an encouragement to us all... so much in fact, he includes interesting medical information in his blog, Hidden in a Field. How does he find the time, folks? Beats me!

P.S. Isn't he lookin' good in that white coat and scrubs!?!
